Airbus is Airseas’ first customer and also shareholder (11%). World recognised leader in aeronautics, Airbus backs Airseas with its automation and flight control know-how, sharing software and expertise.

World leader in aeronautics

Originally a norwegian naval architect cabinet, LMG Marin also has offices in France. Airseas collaborates with them to complement its existing maritime expertise. They mainly intervene in the creation of custom digital ship model to implement our Ecorouting solution and to produce Seawing integration plan on any vessel.

Recognized naval architect

Based in Soulom, Hautes-Pyrénées, France, Nervures is a recognised parafoil manufacturer and accepted to collaborate with Airseas to create the world’s biggest parafoil sail (over 500m²). Evolving with Airseas, they built a dedicated Factory in 2020 to produce Airseas’ wings.

Pioneer and leader in parfoil design

They develop a navigation software named TimeZero. This software was adapted for Seawing’s EcoRouting solution, taking into account waves (direction, height, amplitude…), wind  (direction, force…) and weather, to maximise the use of the system while ensuring an unchanged ETD and ETA.

World leader in map making software and maritime routing

Renowned French school, the ENSM accompanies Seawing on two major points. Evaluating all the operating cases a crew might encounter while operating Seawing and proposing mitigation actions. Training the crews to the use of Seawing, while getting their feedback to improve the system design and operation procedures.

 Airseas has been selected under the European Blue Economy Window Call by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. Our project has been chosen for its mature commercial strategy and its major contribution for a cleaner shipping.

Airseas is a project  supported under the Future Investments Program (Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir, PIA) operated by ADEME, which helped the company first funding and launch.
